1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI Gym Body ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the App. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update your information as needed. You may register using email/password or Google Sign-In.

During registration, you will be guided through a multi-step onboarding process including selecting your gym and setting your workout schedule. These steps help the App match you with compatible gym buddies. You may skip the gym selection and schedule setup steps, but doing so will limit your ability to receive and send workout invites until you complete those steps later from the My Gyms and Manage Schedule pages.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use automated tools to scrape data or interact with the App
• Impersonate another person or entity

5. Content and Data

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile information, messages, photos). By submitting content, you grant the App a non-exclusive license to store and display it as needed for the service to function. Profile photos are stored as data URLs and are not shared with third parties.

6. Gym Buddy Matching & Games

The App's core purpose is to help adults find gym buddies and organize fitness meetups at gyms and other activity locations. We do not guarantee the safety, quality, or reliability of any match or game session. Users are solely responsible for decisions made before, during, and after in-person meetings.

By publishing your availability schedule, you authorize the App to use that information for compatibility matching so other users can find you and send workout invites. Match management sections may show your profile photo, bio, fitness level, city, and session details to other users. We recommend meeting in public locations, informing a trusted contact, and avoiding sharing sensitive personal details.

Games can include a unique public game link/ID intended for sharing game details with other users. Do not post sensitive personal information in game descriptions or shared links.

6a. Location Services & Address Management

The App uses your device's geolocation (with your permission) to find nearby gyms and parks. Location data is used in real-time only and is not stored on our servers. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap and Leaflet; gym/park data is sourced from OpenStreetMap's Overpass API.

When adding a gym or creating a game, you can search for locations by city using our worldwide city autocomplete feature. This feature queries OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to provide city suggestions, and automatically populates city, state/region, and country fields based on your selection. Manual address entry is also supported for locations not in our database.

7. Health Disclaimer

Health stats (BMI, BMR, TDEE), exercise plans, and nutrition plans provided by the App are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting a new exercise or nutrition program.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to physical injury, data loss, or reliance on health information provided.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed.

10. Reporting

Users can report inappropriate behavior or content through the App's reporting feature. We review reports and may take action including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Subscription Terms & Cancellation

We offer a 3-day free trial for GymBody Gold membership. No charges will be collected during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will convert to a paid recurring subscription according to your chosen plan (monthly or annual) and your payment method will be charged.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; cancellation will prevent the next billing cycle and you will not be charged for upcoming billing periods. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current paid period.

Refund policy: For paid charges, we provide a full refund within 7 days of the charge. Refund requests received after 7 days from the charge date will not be accepted.

For purchases processed through mobile stores (Apple App Store or Google Play), store-specific trial and refund rules apply; please consult the store documentation and contact [email protected] for assistance with store-managed refunds.
